Qantas flight grounded after passengers report bed bug bites on long-haul Perth to Rome service.
The company covered hotel accommodations for the stranded passengers and got everyone booked onto alternative flights within a 48-hour window.
A Qantas spokesperson said the flight was cancelled to allow its engineers and maintenance teams to carry out a deep clean of the aircraft.
