At least 139 migrants, including at least 15 children, have died and about 84 are missing after a boat carrying 305 people capsized near Djibouti on its way to Yemen, the UN’s migration agency said
"What is terrible is that they were buried with no names, in a common grave, like in a war situation," a U.N. official said.
At least 139 migrants died, including 15 children, and some 84 went missing when a boat sank off the shores of Djibouti overnight on October 8-9, a UN agency said Sunday.
More than 80 people survived the deadly crossing from Djibouti toward Yemen, while at least 84 remained missing as authorities worked to verify additional victims.

At least 109 migrants, including 15 children, have died after a boat carrying 305 people capsized off Djibouti while travelling to Yemen, with at least 116 people still missing.
The shipwreck is among the deadliest ever recorded on the route to Yemen, the International Organization for Migration said. Dozens remain missing, and the bodies of 15 children were recovered.
Among the 109 bodies recovered were 52 men, 42 women and 15 children, including nine girls and six boys, the IOM said.
Survivors said the vessel — which was carrying 350 people from Djibouti to Yemen — capsized north of the Djibouti town of Obock
